• Tobacco, Beef and More is a free event. It features a total of eight presentations targeted to beef and tobacco producers.
• Topics include dark and burley tobacco varieties, irrigation, strip-tillage tobacco, cattle marketing, calf and cow nutrition research and a calving demonstration.
VISITORS GATHER at the industry/educational trade show between tours at the 2012 Tobacco, Beef and More field day at the UT Highland Rim AgResearch and Education Center. This year's event is scheduled for June 27.
The tours will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m. when visitors can enjoy a complimentary lunch consisting of steak sandwich, chips, and cold drinks.
