• This system ensures the least amount of soil disturbance and residue movement when placing nutrients in no-till environments.
AgSynergy has introduced the new patent pending Genesis TRX applicators which use a single disk, high speed opener for precision placement of anhydrous ammonia.
This system ensures the least amount of soil disturbance and residue movement when placing nutrients in no-till environments.
Among impressive features is an innovative, aggressive sealing system that includes a set ofdurable 4 ¾” wide rubber track that holds residue stationary while the coulter cuts through into the soil. This holding effect minimizes residue and soil movement for a superior sealing of anhydrous ammonia in a wide range of field conditions.
A simple, efficient, easy to adjust, hydraulic down pressure system helps make this possible.
This, combined with a rugged, heavy-duty undercarriage with ¾” thick steel rails and components lubed for life for minimal maintenance, makes the Genesis TRX able to withstand hard field use.
The disk blade is heavy-duty 20” x ¼” thick steel followed by a placement knife with shatter-wing, both of which are adjustable to application depths of 4”, 5” or 6”.
The shatter-wing, with controlled sub-surface soil disturbance, is what enables its superior sealing performance.
The Genesis TRX is equipped with independent hydraulic cylinders that allow for excellent row unit travel. Each row unit has a total vertical range of motion of 16” and a road clearance of 8 ½”.
Side-to-side oscillation is at 5 degrees and provides excellent trailing in contoured ground.
Dual placement of anhydrous ammonia with liquid fertilizer is currently available and dual placement with dry fertilizer will be available in the fall of 2012.
The Genesis TRX units are supported by the heavy-built AgSynergy Semi-Mount and Trailing model tool bars that are available in several models to better fit your operation.
The tool bars are modular in construction, allowing for expandability and are made of strong 7” x 7” x 3/8” steel construction.
The Semi-Mount 40A Side Dress bar model will weigh in at 19,286 lbs.
Additional weight packages are available up to 4,000 pounds
The transport width on all models is 15’ 9”, height is 13’ 1 ¾” and wing-flex is 22°. The tool bar height is fixed at 31”.
All units come with heavy-duty, puncture resistant tires and are equipped with an active hydraulic weight transfer system.
The Trailing models have floating hitches and trailing carts able to hold both liquid and dry skids.
Options include multiple row spacing and multiple carrying wheels.
