Tennessee's Plateau Center sets spring cattle sale

The University of Tennessee Plateau Research and Education Center at Crossville will hold its 11th annual spring heifer and bull sale on Friday, March 23, starting at 10:00 a.m. CDT.

The sale will feature high-quality replacement heifers and bulls (registered Angus, Gelbvieh, and Balancers). Minimum bids per head will be required. Registration documentation and performance data are available for review.

Marcka Auction Services will oversee the sale, with Marcus Davis presiding as auctioneer. The sale will be conducted at the center's headquarters on U.S. Highway 70 North, approximately 8 miles west of Crossville.

The Plateau Research and Education Center is one of 10 field laboratories operated across the state by the Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station.
