The North Carolina small grains field day will be held May 9 at Circle Grove Seeds Farm in Belhaven, N.C.

Registration is at 3 p.m., with the program starting at 3:30 p.m. Dinner will be served a 6 p.m. Circle Grove Seeds Farm is located three miles east of Belhaven, N.C., off U.S. Highway 264.

Topics at the field day include: new nutrient management standards for phosphorous; managing wheat quality milling and baking; nitrogen management; Hessian fly biology and control; new approaches to ryegrass control; and performance of new varieties.
