This year's Virginia Tech Farm and Family Showcase is scheduled for Sept. 5-7. The three-day event will be held at Virginia Tech's Kentland Farm, just west of Blacksburg on New River.

Education is the Number One priority with the demonstrations, tours, seminars and family attractions. Activities for children and adults include: livestock, dairy, horses, poultry, lawn and garden, hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreation, natural resources and conservation, food science and technology, row crops and forages, home and family.

This event is designed for agricultural producers and agribusinesses, equestrians and those in the equine industry, conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts and those in the forest industry, homeowners, landowners, consumers and school groups.
