North Carolina pecan growers plan meeting, orchard tour

• The event is open to anyone involved, or interested, in pecan farming.



• Various pecan production topics will be covered, including marketing, crop management and production practices.

The North Carolina Pecan Growers Association will host its annual educational workshop and orchard tour Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning at the LuMil Vineyard off N.C. 87 in Dublin.

The address for the vineyard is 438 Suggs-Taylor Road, Elizabethtown.

The event is open to anyone involved, or interested, in pecan farming.



Various pecan production topics will be covered, including marketing, crop management and production practices. 

The educational sessions will be followed by a catered lunch and a visit to a nearby orchard for hands-on demonstrations, networking and a question-and-answer time.



Agricultural companies and businesses with pecan-related products are invited to join the program and exhibit products.
