Commodity Classic set

Registrations for Commodity Classic in Las Vegas, March 2-4, have been coming in at a brisk pace. Currently, total registration is 25 percent ahead of last year at this time.
As of Jan. 26, there were more than 2,600 people registered to attend 2004 Commodity Classic, the ninth annual convention and trade show presented by the American Soybean Association (ASA) and National Corn Growers Association (NCGA).
NCGA President Dee Vaughan said, “We're pleased that registrations for Commodity Classic are coming in at such a strong pace. This year's event promises to be exceptional in every aspect, and will be a great experience for farmers.”
ASA President Ron Heck said, “The Commodity Classic offers farmers a wealth of valuable information and contacts through numerous educational sessions and an impressive trade show, featuring more than 650 exhibit booths.”
Commodity Classic also includes time for entertainment. John Wee and Owen Morse are known as The Passing Zone, and they “juggle” just about anything, including gasoline-powered devices. At the Commodity Classic General Session, they will provide entertainment with a motivational message about teamwork and achieving goals.
The special “Evening of Entertainment” will feature award-winning country music star Terri Clark. She was nominated for this year's Country Music Association “Female Vocalist of the Year” and Country Weekly's Fan Favorite “Female Vocalist.”
