Cattle prices could remain strong into next year

Most cattle producers like to hear ag economists make positive predictions about their futures. But when their banker makes them, that’s even better. That’s what set Matthew McKamey’s comments apart during an interview that took place at the Rabo AgriFinance booth at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Cattle Industry Convention in Nashville. McKamey believes 2012 could be another year of double-digit profits for cow-calf producers across the U.S.
