USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) has issued a new form (CCC-933) which will be required before individuals may receive any 2013 crop farm program benefits.
USDA previously announced that sign-up for the 2013 crop programs will begin on Feb. 19.
To be eligible for program payments provided by Natural Resources Conservation Service or FSA, individuals must file a form CCC-933 “Average Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) Certification and Consent to Disclosure of Tax Information.”
The form includes a report of average adjusted gross income, gross farm income and non-farm income.
“The new form is designed to simplify the process and make it easier to verify and check compliance with the law,” according to Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services Michael Scuse.
The form is on the NCC’s website at www.cotton.org/issues/2013/upload/13CCC933.pdf.
