Drought

If you’re farming in the Southeast, you know it has been hot and most areas are suffering through droughty conditions as well. What was once a promising corn crop has been caught at critical stages and yields will likely be off from earlier expectations. In some cases, corn will be harvested for silage in salvage operations. Irrigation systems are running at full capacity in efforts to protect yields in other area crops. We’ve posted articles here dealing with the situation and will update the site to keep you informed.
