The 2004 Blackland Cotton Field Day will be held Sept. 8 at the Jay Brinn Farms in Belhaven, N.C. The field day begins at 3 p.m.

Jay Brinn Farms is located at 7366 Highway 99 South in Belhaven.

A complimentary dinner will follow the field day.

Experts with North Carolina State University will discuss research on cotton growth regulators, cotton insect management, impact of planting dates, hardlock management, impact of at-planting insecticides, and tillage versus no-till, cotton weed management in the Liberty Link System, nitrogen management in cotton, slow release nitrogen source and fertilizer nitrogen additives, and cotton variety performance.
